Metal roof penetrations

Standing seam, trapezoidal and corrugated. The base has to form to the profile without breaking the pan, and the cone has to hold at the pitch the roof runs at.

Dektite on standing seam, 4:3

Which profile are you on?

The profile decides the base. Pitch and pipe size then decide the cone.

Standing seam — 4:3
Standing seam
Soft aluminium base forms between ribs without piercing the seam.
Trapezoidal — 4:3
Trapezoidal
Deep-profile base spans wide ribs and seals on the flat.
Corrugated — 4:3
Corrugated
Standard base follows the corrugation with a sealant bead at the crown.
